The Goalkeeper Academy offers an array of supplementary GK specific training programs, camps, and clinics throughout the year that are open to all Goalkeepers regardless of club affiliation. This page will be updated periodically with the latest GK Academy programming.
Penn Fusion Goalkeeping Director, Charlie Sales will bring you a top notch Goalkeeper Training academy. During these sessions, all goalkeepers will be exposed to the same training methods and drills that were used to help develop GK’s such as Matt Freese (Penn Fusion Alum, Philadelphia Union & NYFC), Pablo Sisniega (Real Sociedad, LAFC & Charlotte FC), Emily Armstrong (UConn, IFK Kalmar- Sweden & IBV – Iceland), & AJ Marcucci (Penn Fusion Alum, New York Red Bulls). This GK Academy will touch on everything from shot stopping, basic through advanced diving techniques, 1 on 1 scenarios, crosses & distribution with communication. WHAT: Supplementary goalkeeper programming focusing on situational/functional, Decision-making based training sessions. All sessions are planned and executed under the Penn Fusion Goalkeeping methodology.
WHO:
All goalkeepers are welcome regardless of club affiliation from the 2018 through 2007 birth years
